When does Apple start to give a free iPod with a student Macbook purchase?

Posted by admin 7 May, 2010

My old notebook has pooped out and I’m starting college in the fall and I was wondering if I could order a new one now and still get the free iPod?
Also, is it given only with a Macbook pro or with just a Macbook?

It is not free. You pay full price for it and then send in for a rebate. Just a heads up.

As far as their iPod promotion. No, you have to wait until they run it.

I think it’s any macbook, but I’m pretty sure they only give things away in the summer before fall. So probably around August, I would check the site when it gets closer to that time.

I wouldn’t buy a mac if they gave me 10 ipods.

I seemed to notice it around the later half of summer, traditionally before Fall semesters begin.

usually at the start of every year apple seems to have a promotional deal with a free ipod. I believe with all the new ipods these days that they might have different ipods depending on which computer you buy. just keep a heads up or visit an apple store and ask some sales accociates
