What is a good free downloading music website for a macbook?

I want something good for the macbook, I dont want my computer to become slow or anything, so something safe and free?

Any site that offers music under a Creative Commons license. There’s no other kind – since it’s illegal to offer copyrighted music for download, any site that does would be closed down almost immediately. the best you can do is torrent sites – that offer links to users who have the music files you want – and downloading torrents is almost an ironclad guarantee of downloading all sorts of malware. Not to mention a notice from your provider that if you do it again they’ll close your internet account. (the part they leave out is that you get listed on an industry-wide black list, so no other provider will give you an internet account. Ever.)
Buy the music legitimately – use iTunes. It’s a LOT cheaper.
