Sound Drivers for Windows XP on a SONY VAIO?

Hi… I bought a SONY VAIO desktop and the audio does not work and the problem is the audio driver is not installed. However, the problem is, is that the computer came with Vista, but I installed XP on it, and when I try to install the driver from the SONY site, it does not let me. Any ideas?!

Try Windows Update. They don’t usually do drivers, but you never know with Windows,
Also, call Sony and see what options you have. The number for technical support is 1-888-868-1975. Hope this helps. If you go to to http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/select-system.pl?DIRECTOR=DRIVER&PRODTYPE=70 you can get more help on drivers for the VAIO products. If you go to http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/select-system.pl?DIRECTOR=DRIVER&PRODTYPE=1 you can select auto-detect and it will connect to your computer and walk you through some technical support steps (just make sure you are on your VAIO).
