Replacing an ASUS A2500H laptop screen with a screen from an ASUS L3000D laptop?

Hi my ASUS A2500H notebook needs a new 15″ display screen panel and i\’ve been offered a 15″ display screen out of a ASUS L3000D notebook.
Is it possible to use the L3000D screen in the A2500H?
If so, will the screen plug straight in or will modification (different plugs etc…) be necessary?
I appreciate any help you can offer.
