My Two-year-old MacBook Pro is flashing a grey folder with a white questiat mark over a grey background. I cannot get it to do anything else. How do I resolve this? Is it a virus?

It sounds like OS X isn’t able to find a bootable drive. There may be a problem with your hard drive or your installation of OS X.
Check http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1417
If that doesn’t help, boot into your restore disk and try to do an archive and install.
I recommend calling Apple if you got an extended warranty.
