none get ab Compaq Presario CQ60Z series
The Lenovo seems to have better hardware specs for the most part (but only slightly), but the MSI has the better OS. Research the differences in the OS – it might not matter to you.
I’ve owned a Lenovo T61 for almost two years now, and I love it. Awesome machine, still runs like it was new, except the hard disk is nearly full. (But that was my doing…) Mine dual boots Vista & Gentoo Linux, but it’s a custom setup.
My family owns two other thinkpads, and both are still alive and well. Batteries are the only replacements they’ve had. (And one got changed from OS/2 to Ubuntu Linux…)
