Laptop help! msi x340 vs asus ul30a?

i\’m an eight grader looking for a thin and light notebook that wont brake the bank. These are both nice and i only need the basics. The asus comes with windows 7! but the msi comes with win vista:?What thin and light notebook do you recommend?? and why…

I would get the asus because its got a core2 duo while the msi has a core2 solo, even though the solo has a faster clock speed, im willing to bet the duo is faster. also, vista takes longer to start up than 7.
all that and better ram. go with the asus
