I’m having trouble downloading a new wireless driver to sony vaio laptop. Any tips?

I’ve been getting blue screen crashes in XP, and found out that it may be due to a faulty wlan driver. When I tried to download a newer driver for 2200 BG from Intel, I got a zipped folder, and nate of the .exe files seem to install new drivers.

u will need to manually install the drivers from the device mgr in the control panel. first extract the folder to the desktop in a folder and then goto the device mgr in the control panel by double clicking on system then clicking on device mgr. and chosing it to search the folder that you created on the desktop. hope this helps.
