I cant get internet to work on this laptop?

Well, its not a “notebook” but its an old Fujitsu Lifebook. This computer guy put some kind of card in the side that allows it to have the internet, but the internet wont work on it. I really want to use this computer but now the internet wont work. Is it the card or the computer?
I defragged it too recently. How can i get this to work?

It sounds like the computer itself is just outdated.
well, sometimes the wireless card has a wireless brand on it, you need a router thats the same brand
u might need to download some drivers for the card or some program that might go with it in order to activate the wireless capabilites. maybe you havent installed the software needed or your router might not support wifi.

is the card showing up in your hardware list?
Did you connect to the wireless router via ethernet and load your drivers and set up the connection?
Can see see any available networks?
