How to tell difference between a fake and real apple macbook?

Is there a way to see if a macbook is real or fake? I just bought a macbook from ebay for about 1.7k while it was worth 2k. They claim it was sealed and i\’ve an email from UPS, that they sent it over mail. It is coming in two days, from two days shipping. Do you think this is real and is there any obvious 100% signs to tell if the macbook I get is real?

I don’t know. But i’m in the same boat,sort of. I bought mine on Ebay used. Little usage they said for having it 4 months. I just received it today, and I’m waiting for the kids to go to sleep before I start messing with it. I’m excited, but this is my first MAC, and my expectations are pretty high.
To your question; I haven’t heard of fake Mac’s, but I guess anything is possible. Good Luck!
