How to tell if a macbook pro 15 inch battery still works without a computer?

So i\’ve a MacBook Pro 15-inch Rechargeable Battery and want to sell it, but first I want to make sure that it works. Does anyate know if there’s a way to tell if it works or not, without the computer?
