bubblewrap =D
Well, If you are selling it on ebay you can have the buyer pay the shipping costs.. As for cheapest, UPS seems to have better rates IMO but I think you should do a little check around just to make sure. All of the packing is your responsibility, so put the flufflies or what not back in with your laptop that it came in or bubble wrap etc. I am assuming you are in the US.
try selling it on here http://www.pntrs.com/t/RUBETENGRUBGS0NESkBGSkpIRw
try USPS or UPS they have flat rate boxes
shipping will be $10-15 (Tracking # included, add $1-2 for insurance)
staples also have large boxes available just see to it that the your original
apple box will fit into the box and buy some bubble wrap to cushion.
It depends on your macbook. The older generation of macbooks (white) or more heavy so perhaps a usps flat rate box would be an alternative if it costs to much to ship using weight. The newer generation of macbooks (aluminum) are much more light, so you should try to compare the price between shipping using weight and usps flat rate boxes. In my experience, UPS is cheaper when shipping by weight, and usps is cheaper for smaller lightweight items or for using the flat rate boxes. You can also use bubble wrap to ship the macbook. I think the shipping companies provide the bubble wrap or packing material sometimes, so you should definitely check their websites and see if they offer that kind of service.
