How to make a MacBook become a external drive for another MacBook?

Helloooo.
i\’ve a friend who recently got a new MacBook.
As she wants to copy over the files at that MacBook to her new, she borrowed her sat’s firewirecable.
Now, how does she start the new MacBook so the older ate shows up as a external drive?
We think she should boot it up and press P until it has started.
We just want to make sure.
Thanks
/Joel

Long and complicated to post here. Google the question and you’ll get an answer.
Hold the T button down while turning on the MacBook. This will bring it into target firewire mode, and the computer should mount on the desktop.
