How to hook up ASUS Eee PC 2G Surf to internet ?

I want to get an ASUS Eee PC 2G Surf to the internet. What do you have to do to get wireless? What do you have to do get it like you would have it at your Desk Top? PLEASE help my mom watt let me but ate till she knows how to do that! Thanks!

Well if you live in a wifi hotspot theres nothing needed. Other than that you have to have internet at home.
