How much would screen repairs of a Dell XPS model M1210 cost?

I’ve got a Dell XPS model m1210 and I accidentally wrecked half the screen. How much would you say that would cost if I were to take it in and attempt to get it fixed? If need be I can provide pictures of the damage. The computer works perfectly fine it’s just the screen.
Please I need your help, it isn’t my computer it’s my dads. And he’ll kill me if it’s like 800 dollars.
Please, I beg of you help me.

you’ll have to use an external monitor now, repair cost is more than cpu
If its under warranty, send it back. If its not, check with your local stores for repair prices. Good luck!
It’s just as cheap to buy a new one…LCDs are all prices, but a 19 inch would be roughly 200

And you will see that the prices on the 12.1″ screens range from less than $200 to well over $400… and I don’t have the part number for that particular screen handy…
Labor is between 2 and 3 hours tops. SO, any shop looking to make a profit on it, depending on the price of the screen, will prolly charge between $350 and $700 for the job. You’d have to get a more exact estimate by actually bringing it into a shop.
My nephew paid $280 at a local repair shop.

You wrecked the screen on a LAPTOP? Yikes. That’s really going to be expensive. You’ll most likely have to return it to a Dell repair facility to have it replaced. The display is the most expensive part of a laptop computer.
