Go to options on Skype and change the setting.
Just open System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items and delete the Skype icon.
when you start it up… do it normally… after it does its auto signin (when it logs you into skype automatically) sign out. but leave the ign in page open. there should be some option asking to sign in on start up…. if the problem persists… look into the skype ptions menu.
I thought this would be a simple change in the preferences (Like in Windows), but it looks like Skype for Mac does not give you that option; so you’ll have to do it yourself.
When skype is open, right click it in the dock, and uncheck “Open at login”. That should be it.
when it starts, right-click it in the dock and uncheck the “Open at Login” option.
by the way, to Rigo: it IS just a simple change in preferences.
