how do i get the video off of my jvc gr-d347u mini dv atto my asus notebook with win vista? i got this camera and im trying to start having fun with it finally and I cant seem to get video off of it, i datt know what program to use either…please help me.

You can do this with StashSpace.Com
Do it yourself with a firewire cable and their free video editing software available from their website. You need a firewire cable and a firewire port on your computer. If your computer does not have a firewire port you can add one for ~$30 to the PCI/PCMIA slot. Get one at any computer electronics store.
Or have them do it for you. It costs $7 per hour tape for the transfer to digital and you have the option of watching, sharing, and editing online. Works great for combining video footage from multiple tapes.
