How do I download a Compaq a1000 printer driver for windows vista if i have lost installation CD?

i\’ve looked everywhere but i can’t find a driver download for win vista.

Compaq was bought by HP, and now HP offers support for all Compaq hardware devices. If you don’t find it on their website, it’s likely there is no Vista driver for it.
