I have a MacBook Pro laptop that has a Verizon Wireless PCI card. I want to plug a wireless router into the MacBook so that other computers can access the MacBook’s internet via a wireless network.

You don’t, the router does the work no need to share connection on the Mac. all the other person needs is to be connected to the router (wired or wireless)
hope this helps ya out.
