Help reformatting a OLD Fujitsu Lifebook. . . . . . ?

Posted by admin 27 May, 2010

i\’ve a OLD Fujitsu Laptop thats been sitting in my closet for 3 years that i bought used with Windows 2000 NT Proffesional
installed. I turned it on and it said it was checking the disk and then it started up and i think it gave me the blue screen of death. I know this is a spyware and virus ridden notebook. If i were to format it with Ubuntu would I just have to put the CD in the CD-Rom drive?

For the most part the answer is yes. You can choose to wipe out the hard drive giving it all for Ubuntu use.
