Fujitsu Lifebook Computer P Series?

i\’m trying to connect to the internet using a wireless network, but on my computer, it states network cable unplugged. i\’ve a desktop and my sister has a compaq notebook, which both have access to the internet. i\’m trying to figure out why I can’t connect using this notebook. i\’ve tried everything imaginable. My 1394 connection is connected, but the local area connection states unplugged. Please help, if you can. Serious Answers only, please!!

if it is saying the network cable is unplugged the u r looking at the lan connection and not the wireless network connection
i think u r using a router and u can refer the instructions given in the router manual
