does xbox 360 benq drive have drivers?

a while ago i got the 3 red rings of death so i was left with the drive and i was hoping to mayb still be able to use it on my notebook does ne one kno if it has drivers becuz my computer detects it as a mass storage device which it is not but it detects other dvd drives

Do a google search for benq Firmware.
I actually doubt it will for that model as it is basically only used in the Xbox
