Does anyone know if the new scented asus laptops continue to smell or if it wears off fairly quickly?

I like the laptop but I feel the scent might be annoying in scent-free buildings and such . Any info is appreciated.
my whole point is that I like the design and features of th laptop but don’t really want the smell. Read the details before answering please.

Scented laptops? I’ve never heard of them… But that seems.. kinda pointless. What will the desperate economy come up with next? Why dont you just tape an air freshener to the laptop you have already.

I think that the smell would eventually get annoying. And I would think the fumes would be bad for the metal in the laptop. I had an airfreshener in my saxophone case, and my music instructor said that it was bad for the metal on my sax. =P
