Do all good ASUS laptops have a nine cell battery?

Or can I actually pull the extra three cells out from the back so it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb from the back of a notebook I wanna buy? That’s the atly problem i\’ve right now with all the notebooks I wanna buy–they all have a huge nine cell battery sticking out the arse and I really dislike it.
As for “it will last latger!”, it’ll basically be always plugged in anyways, so battery power doesn’t matter to me, but if I’m at the go, I really dat’t want to lag a nine cell around with me.

Asus would go out of business, if they were to standardize on 9 cell batteries
Can you even see the 9 cells, that you are wanting to remove 3 cells

So once you have got your fundamentals right, next step would be to procure your tool box & soldering gear … and last but not the least your ‘armour suit’
in short, get a quote for a 6 cell battery from asus & should you be able to afford it … get it
I have the 904HA Eee and it came with a 6-cell battery, which is streamlined with the body of the computer. If all you’re finding is 9-cells, maybe you could get an Acer or MSI instead, they all are pretty much the same price.
If you let us know which model you were looking at that would be helpful, but this one has a 6 cell.
