can i buy a new graphics card for my asus laptop?

Asus K60IJ 16″ Refurbished notebook featuring an Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor T4300 with 4GB memory

I bought this laptop and it runs great. But the graphics card is the weakest area hardware wise. Am i able to purchase a new graphics card and have it installed in this laptop? I was always under the impression that you can’t make hardware upgrades in laptops.

so far i’m thinking getting a new card installed or trying to update the graphics driver. but any info helps.
