Are MSI good laptops brand? Laptop for 1200 dollars. ?

I know that MSI is good mother board brand. But does MSI knows how to build notebooks? Are MSI notebooks reliable?
I need an expert advice. I only have 1200 dollars and I want to work with multimedia. So I saw this: http://www.1a.lt/komptechnika/notebooks/details.php?id=1997550 its about 1000 dollars. (I know its not English (Lithuanian) page, but you should understand the technical spec.)
What would you choose for 1200 dollars?
